Bozeman is a very interesting place, we have many “crimes” so I thought I would share some of the best our local newspaper puts in print, via the Police Reports. Enjoy

1. Deputies responded to a report of an open attic door at a home on Prospector Trail. Deputies searched the attic and found nothing wrong.

2.
A caller reported a miniature donkey loose on the 2000 block of West Main Street.

3. Deputies responded to an underage party at the Leverich Canyon trailhead. When officers arrived, minors fled into the woods. A search and rescue team was deployed to recover one male who broke his leg running from deputies.

4. A man was warned for hitchhiking on West Main Street Monday. It's against the law to hitchhike in the city limits.

5. A woman on North Fifth Avenue told police Monday that there was a strange stain on her kitchen table. The stain was most likely coffee.

6. There were five horses at large on East Valley Center Road Monday.

7. A caller heard gunshots near Yerger Drive Monday.

8. A dead duck was found on South 11th Avenue Tuesday.

9. Officers arrested a man for violating a restraining order and contacting his wife Tuesday. The man had buried his dead dog in his wife's North Wallace Avenue yard.

10. A North 24th Avenue woman told police Sunday that her husband had been missing for two days. The husband was located hanging out with his friends.

11. There was an injured skunk on Butch Cassidy Drive, a caller reported Sunday.

12. A drunken man was standing behind some bushes next to a Lea Avenue business Tuesday. He wasn't breaking the law.

13. Two people were warned for rappelling off the roof of the Bogart Park pavilion Tuesday.

14. Two boys were shooting birds with pellet guns on Lily Drive Tuesday.

15. There were two Rottweilers running loose on the frontage road Tuesday.

16. There was a marmot in a West College Street home Monday.

17. A man on South Broadway Street in Manhattan was acting strangely Monday. He was walking around staring at people and not talking.

18. A Bozeman Daily Chronicle newspaper stand in front of Wal-mart was stolen, a caller reported Wednesday.

19. The sheriff responded to a report of bulls on U.S. Highway 287 Saturday morning near McAllister.

20. A transient was bleeding on North 11th Avenue Tuesday. He told police he fell over on the sidewalk.

21. A man told police he drank too much alcohol Tuesday. Apparently, the man drank four cases of beer in one sitting and was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.

22. A man bleeding from his head was found in the the middle of the road in the Covered Wagon trailer park Tuesday. The "man" ended up being sweatsuit filled with leaves put in the roadway by kids in the area. The scarecrow, named Fred, was given a ride home, according to police reports.

23. An Annie Glade Drive caller told deputies Tuesday that someone threw deer antlers at her home.

24. Ennis police, sheriff's deputies, Search and Rescue and Civil Air Patrol searched unsuccessfully for overdue hikers in the Trail Creek drainage Sunday afternoon. The two hikers walked out on their own around 11:30 p.m.

25. A woman on West Babcock Street said a salesman has continued to try to sell her cleaning products even though she has told him three times she wasn't interested. The salesman was warned.

26. A caller reported some sick goats on Nelson Road Monday. The goats were fine.

27. A female student reported that a man was watching her in the shower at the Johnstone Center last week.

28. A stray dog ran into a home on Mountain Loop Road Tuesday and growled at the homeowners.

29. A drunken man entered a stranger's apartment on Julia Martin Drive over the weekend. A resident there tried to escort the man to his home, but he fled on foot. He was found passed out at the center of campus. He was taken to the hospital and cited for underage drinking.

30. A Langford Hall resident found feces near his dorm room Thursday.

31. A man at a West Main Street business told police Monday that his co-worker challenged him to a fight.

32. A naked man assaulted another man and was challenging others to fight in the South Hedges dormitory Saturday. He was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and underage drinking.
